announces the 2nd International Linguistic Conference

“Linguistics of the XXI century: Traditions and novations.

The 2^nd conference in memory of V.V. Lazarev”.

 April 20 – 21, 2017

Pyatigorsk State University, Pyatigorsk, Russia

The conference is held in memory of  V.V. Lazarev, the prominent Russian philosopher and linguist.

Topics of interest include:

1. Theory of nomination and neology
2. Cognitive linguistics vs Great tradition
3. Sociolinguistics
4. Discourse studies and pragmatics
5. Philosophical issues of cognitive linguistics

We intend to publish a pre-conference volume of selected papers. The volume will be indexed in Russian Science Citation Index (РИНЦ).

Conference fee

The full conference fee is 2200 RUB: participation in all sessions of the conference, a volume of conference proceedings, coffee breaks and a welcome buffet.

Participation without presentation is also possible and the fee is 1400 RUB, this includes a volume of conference proceedings and postage.

The deadline for registration and article submission – 25 March 2017.
